He was also the majority owner and president of a management consulting firm, and has served on the board of the American Seniors Housing Association since 1998.

Scott has been serving seniors in senior living communities and health-care settings for more than 23 years, working his way from Director of Operations at the community level to regional roles and then to senior management. He is also a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in both Florida and Pennsylvania.
